Gmail el mejor anti-spam y unificador de cuentas

Yo tenía un problema con el spam, recibía una media de 150 correos spam al día. Esto hacía que Outlook me fuese muy lento y tardase mucho en descargarse todo el correo. Además tenía el problema añadido de que tengo 5 cuentas de correo distinto, lo que hacía la gestión del correo un poco confuso.

La solución me la dio un amigo la semana pasada: usar Gmail.

Gmail es un e-mail gratuito de Google, y actualmente te da 18.809226 megabytes de almacenamiento, así que no necesitas borrar ningún mensaje. He redireccionado todas mis cuentas a la de Gmail, así que no usaré más Outlook para leer mis mensajes.

Ventajas que tiene:
– El filtro antispam realmente funciona.
– El sistema de búsqueda es muy bueno (Google)
– Es gratuito y tíene gran almacenamiento

Otra ventaja que se supone que tiene es que puedes enviar e-mails como si fuesen de otra cuenta. Pero esto no es del todo cierto, ya que aparecerá en el emisor del mensaje la cuenta desde la que has especificado que se envíe el e-mail y la cuenta de gmail.
De: cuentagmail@gmail.com en nombre de cuentadesdelaquequieresenviar@loquesea.com

La solución que he tomado para evitar que aparezca mi cuenta de Gmail es usar Outlook para enviar menajes donde no quiero que se sepa mi cuenta de gmail.

Cuando haces el reenvio de tu cuenta personal a gmail, en principio se te borrarán todos los mensajes del servidor que usabas, pero podrás seguir mandando mensajes desde esa cuenta desde Outlook (excepto desde yahoo).

Si te ocurre como a mí que tu servidor original no borra los mensajes, lo que puedes hacer es decirle a Outlook que no se baje los menajes.

Herramientas/Enviar y recibir/ Config envío o recepción/Definir grupos de envío o recepción
Hacer doble clic en todas las cuentas
Deseleccionar recibir elementos de correo.

Eso sí cada cierto tiempo tendrás que borrar tu inbox.

    Muy buenas Luis! Lo mismo ya lo tienes solucionado puesto que esta entrada es ya antigua pero por si acaso: prueba a cuando estableces las propiedades de la cuenta de correo importada a indicar que use como salida el de la propia web (POP), de esta forma GMail funciona totalmente como Outllook y nadie tiene porqué conocer tu cuenta gmail.

    Hace relativamente poco tiempo que estoy funcionando con Gmail y sin duda es lo que andaba buscando, la pregunta es: ¿Hasta que punto podemos seguir poniendo nuestras «vidas» en manos de google?
